What are the best type of pictures to send in?
Digital pictures are the preferred choice, but there are other options. When sending digital pictures make sure the picture was taken with at least a 3 megapixel camera set on the highest setting. We can take smaller files, but the more megapixels, the better the image and the more we can enlarge it. If you have lower quality pictures go ahead and send them in. If there is a problem we will be in touch with you to go over some options.
Can I send in a photograph or negative?
We will gladly accept photographs and negatives. We will even accept old photographs. Depending on the size of the picture to enlarge there may be additional fees for the scanning process. You will be made aware before you are charged anything extra. We will ship back any film or negatives after your print is made just as long as it is stated to us at the time of the order. Please make sure to protect your images when shipping.
How long will the canvases last?
The canvases are water resistant and we use the highest quality archival inks. They have been tested to last over 100 years, without fading, in direct sunlight.
Is the canvas glossy?
All of the canvas we use has a slight gloss to it, but with the special coating you will get a slightly more glossy appearance.
What is Match My Photo?
We will modify our Printed Big Originals to match the color palette of any image you upload or send to us. This option allows you to get your Printed Big Original as if it were custom painted just for your decor.
